Аннотация. Статья посвящена социальной адаптации ребенка – процессу приспособления и активного освоения им новых социальных условий выполнения физических упражнений, когда личность и социальная среда активно взаимодействуют, влияя друг на друга. Представлено краткое описание стадий и условий социальной адаптации в ходе занятий физическими упражнениями, критериев физкультурной адаптированности. Доказывается уникальность занятий физкультурой как общественного явления для успешной социализации детей.

Encyclopedia of physical culture of the child. Social adaptation
Annotation. The article is devoted to one of the goals of physical culture – social adaptation of the child – to the process of adaptation and active development by the child of new social conditions for the performance of physical exercises, when the personality and the social environment actively interact, influencing each other. A brief description of the stages and conditions of social adaptation in the course of physical exercises, criteria for physical fitness adaptation is presented. The uniqueness of physical education as a social phenomenon for the successful socialization of the child is proved.
