Annotation. In the evolution of preschool education, the issue of the development and formation of psychoanalytic education (one of the directions of preschool pedagogy) in Russia is highly relevant. Social and pedagogical movement in the early twentieth century. contributed to the emergence and effective development of psychoanalytic education. Particular attention is paid to the activities of an outstanding scientist and teacher, Vera Schmidt, one of the pioneers of psychoanalytic education in Russia, in the Orphanage-Laboratory “International Solidarity”.
