Аннотация. Статья посвящена одному из путей достижения целей физической культуры – физическому развитию, результатом которого является процесс роста и биологического созревания ребенка. Описываются особенности физического развития детей дошкольного возраста: рост тела, вегетативные функции, структурно-функциональная организация мозга. Указаны медицинские группы для занятий физической культурой (основная, подготовительная и специальная) в зависимости от группы состояния здоровья детей (от I до V).

Encyclopedia of physical culture of the child. Physical development
Annotation. The article is devoted to one of the ways to achieve the goals of physical culture-physical development, the result of which is the process of growth and biological maturation of the child. Specific features of the physical development of children of preschool age are described: body growth, autonomic functions, structural and functional organization of the brain. The medical groups for physical training are indicated (basic, preparatory and special), depending on the group of children’s health status (from I to V).
