Annotation. Elizabeth Tiheeva is one of the leading places in the history of the national pre‐school education. Socio‐pedagogical movement in the early XXth century and has contributed to the effective development of pre‐school education system. Particular attention is paid to the individual scientist, teacher Elizabeth Tiheeva – one of the pioneers of public preschool education in Russia.
